The Trails of Frisco homes offer buyers houses originally built around the year 2000 with some construction as recent as 2005. A select few of the homes in The Trails will have golf course views of The Trails Golf Club. The neighborhood allows residents easy access to the golf course and it is not unusual to see owners riding around on their own, personal golf carts through the actual trails and neighborhood streets.
As the name of the subdivision indicates, there are miles of walking and biking trails intertwined between the homes where residents can exercise 24 hours per day. Many of the homeowners in the area take full advantage of these amenities and it isn't at all unusual to see owners walking their dogs, taking their kids for a stroll or riding their bicycles through the paths in the neighborhood.
Pricing on homes in the Trails begins around $300,000 and can go to over $700,000. The more expensive homes in the area tend to be the ones with the golf course views and direct access to the course. As the homes were built around 2000, buyers may find that some of the houses may need a bit of updating to bring them to today's popular standards. However, being that this neighborhood is not considered a "cheap" area, buyers may be pleasantly surprised at the updating which has already occurred to the existing properties.
Buyers may find that some of the homes have been renovated to include granite counters, neutral paint colors, stone veneer around the fireplaces, custom swimming pools, updated master bathrooms, hardwood and stone flooring, media rooms, game rooms, large walk-in closets and more. The homes in the area offer open floor plans and generally decent sized kitchens with stainless appliances and gas fixtures for water heaters and cooking. The exterior of the homes was constructed using brick and stone veneer.
