Frisco TX is located in both Denton & Collin Counties. About the equal distance from both Love Field Airport and Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (approximately 25 miles), the area is considered affluent and is served by the very highly rated Frisco Independent School District which will support 10 high schools by 2017. Real estate in Frisco has experienced tremendous growth over the past decade including the sale of both pre-owned and new construction.

Properties for sale in Frisco offer buyers new construction real estate to listings that were constructed almost a century ago.  The older Frisco houses will be found around the main area of the original city near "downtown," which is located near Toyota Stadium where FC Dallas plays.  One can see original Frisco by taking Main Street west from the North Dallas Tollway about a mile. 

Along Main Street, buyers will see the homes of original Frisco which have now been turned into commercial structures and restaurants.  However, directly behind Main Street, on both the north and south, original  Frisco real estate of the early 1900s still exists and still contains the original period designs and architecture.

Styles of Houses for Sale in Frisco

The newer construction houses for sale will generally be priced higher per square foot than a pre-owned home.  Architecturally, buyers may find traditional homes; a few contemporary properties; golf course real estate; and, Mediterranean, French, and English styles.  Generally, the more architectural significance of a property, the higher the price.  However, many of the mid-priced listings will feature some European styling with traditional brick with stone veneer elevations which will give buyers a sense of architectural and design enhancements.

There are also a few Frisco condos and Frisco townhomes available to those wanting that style of living.

Many levels of prices may be found for buyers looking at properties for sale in Frisco, Texas.  Some of the new construction neighborhoods may also be mentioned in the list below.  Below is a description of price points and the subdivisions and neighborhoods in which the current homes for sale may be found:

Real estate for sale over $1,000,000 is considered to be luxury and buyers can choose from homes with very nice amenities and locations.  Within this price range, Frisco buyers will find houses with options and upgrades like elevators, custom swimming pools (some saltwater), outdoor living spaces, master retreats, bonus rooms such as libraries, wine storage areas, game rooms, media rooms and more.  The kitchens will be top-of-the-line appliances with chef's type kitchens, natural stone flooring, granite or stone counters and an abundance of storage.

The newer luxury Frisco properties will have today's most popular building trends like vaulted ceilings; extensive hardwood flooring; stone flooring; iron balusters on multiple staircases; the master and an extra bedroom downstairs with additional bedrooms upstairs.

In this price range, the homes listed for sale in Frisco will give home buyers the options of almost any sort of architectural styles available.

The following neighborhoods are where the higher-priced homes in Frisco may be found: Stonebriar, The Hills of Kingswood, Starwood, Newman Village, Lakes on Legacy, Latera, Chapel Creek, and Shaddock Creek. 

On real estate for sale priced from $750,000 to $1,000,000, buyers will find an abundance of properties which give them a great sense of luxury and prestige.  Some of the subdivisions where a buyer will be able to find houses in this price range will be similar to the luxury category above.

The neighborhoods with homes in Frisco priced $750,000 to $1,000,000 may be found in the following: Chapel Creek, Phillips Creek Ranch, Starwood, Newman Village, Latera, Lakes on Legacy Drive, Hills of Kingswood, Stonebriar, Shaddock Creek, Park Place Estates, Richwoods, Country Club Ridge at The Trails, Villages of Stonelake Estates and Canals at Grand Park.

Within the price range of $500,000 to $750,000, the homes for sale in Frisco will still offer buyers great floor plans, open rooms, tall ceilings and more of the desired amenities and styles popular with today's buyer like hardwood and stone flooring, open kitchen areas with flowing floor plans to main living areas. 

Homes in Frisco priced $250,000 to $500,000 are extremely popular and are considered the "entry point" to living in the city, especially when it comes to listings closer to the $250,000 mark.  Listings within this category generally will need a little updating and work to bring them to today's most popular cosmetic standards.  However, again, this is the entry price point for those buyers wanting to purchase in Frisco. Buyers may also find new construction properties within this price range but those will be closer to the $500,000 mark.
