The biggest draw for buyers of homes on the M Streets is absolutely the older houses built in the above-mentioned Craftsman and Tudor styles.  Buyers in this area like the overall "feel" of the neighborhoods and the historic architecture of the properties.  If special architectural styling and near original Dallas houses appeal to you, this may be your area.

Pricing on the neighborhood's real estate runs as low as the mid $100,000's to over $1,000,000.  The houses in the area offer buyers as few as one bedroom to over four bedrooms.  Older real estate in the area will still have the charm of the 1920's with original hardwood flooring, tile work, arched doorways, columns on the porches and other features prevalent from the time period of original builds.

Things to Do

 Granada Theater - According to the theater's website, it was built in 1946 in an Art Deco design that reflects the Golden Era's decadence. During your visit to this historical venue, you can watch a range of live music acts at reasonable prices.

White Rock Lake - This lake covers a little over 1,000 acres, and it's one of the most popular parks in Dallas. It features the White Rock Lake Museum, picnic areas, boat ramps, a dog park, The Bath House Cultural Center, hiking and biking trails, and an Audubon Society bird watching area.

Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden - Spanning sixty-six acres, this botanical garden sits on the southeastern shore of White Rock Lake. It's home to several gardens such as The Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden, the Trail Gardens, A Woman's Garden, and the Val Late Garden of Memories.
