Prices on Houses for Sale in Flower Mound
The median age of Flower Mound homes is six years. At 86 percent, most are owned, while 12 percent are rented. The other two percent are currently unoccupied.
Buyers will find a variety of housing options such as condominiums, townhouses, and luxury single-family homes (some of the nicest properties are near Lake Lewisville).
Single-family homes can be found on varying lot sizes including 39 acres. However, this amount of acreage isn't typical. Buyers are more likely to find a property on 1.5 to 3 acres. Available homes may include large secondary bedrooms, soaring ceilings, master suites with spa-like baths, floor-to-ceiling stone fireplaces, private studies, game rooms, and chefs' kitchens with state-of-the-art appliances. On the outside, amenities may include a swimming pool, deck, garden, dedicated barbecue area, and sprinkler system.
Half-million dollar properties are not uncommon. It's an upscale neighborhood. The city is a stable neighborhood, with only 0.7 houses foreclosed per 10,000, far lower than the Dallas-Fort Worth Metro foreclosure rate of 3.5. The average commute time is 29 minutes. Most people live in the city but work in Dallas or Fort Worth.
Homes in Flower Mound price from about $150,000 to over $5,000,000 depending upon the location of the real estate, size of the home, the year the house was constructed, finish outs, condition & more. Buyers of Flower Mound real estate can find properties with square footage from around 2000 square feet for the smaller, less expensive houses to over 12000 square feet of the luxury real estate sitting on the lake.
If a buyer is seeking luxury real estate, we might guide them to subdivisions like The Landing, Oak Ridge Estates, Chateau Du Lac, Point Noble, Lakeside Tower, Timbercreek Trail, Robbins Point, Kensington Estate, Sanctuary, Triple T Farms or the Estates at Tour 18.
One common factor of the luxury real estate is that the properties are near either Lake Lewisville or on the Tour 18 golf course. Either setting is where most luxury buyers want to live in Flower Mound. Therefore, these houses will be priced the highest of the city's subdivisions and neighborhoods. The luxury real estate will also give buyers larger lots, most over at least an acre of land.
$750,000 TO $1,000,000

These listings may be found in the following subdivisions: Lakeside Tower, Estates of Tour 18, Chimney Rock, Peninsula at Twin Coves, Preserve and Montalcino Estates.
Within this price range, buyers will still see amazing, luxury finishes with hand scrapped hardwoods, stone flooring, gourmet kitchens, abundant storage, locations close to the lake or on the golf course, three car garages, retreat type bathrooms, custom swimming pools, and larger lot sizes.
